Penn Forward: Share Your Ideas

Penn Forward is helping us meet the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing landscape in higher education. As recently announced, we have begun the planning phase. Six working groups have been charged with developing and testing ideas, and their work is already underway.

But Penn is a large and diverse community. Students, post-doctoral scholars, faculty, staff, alumni and volunteer leaders all bring perspectives and insights that can make Penn stronger. We hope you will share yours.

Imagine it is 2035, and a new student, faculty member, or staff member has just arrived at Penn. What do we want to be true for them that is not true today? How will they experience learning and discovery, belonging, and purpose? How will they carry forward their Penn experience in careers, creativity, and the richness of intellectual growth? Or imagine a Penn alum, 5-50 years past graduation who knows Penn still offers them something of value. What would that be and how could we deliver it?

We welcome bold ideas, whether large or small, that can help shape Penn’s future. Click here to share your ideas. today. Your input will be directed to the Penn Forward working groups as they develop recommendations for the University’s future and help us propel Penn Forward. Please submit your ideas by October 6, 2025.
